A breakdown of one of the Portmanteau link pieces

I’ve been working over the weekend on “Portmanteau”, my homage novel to the 70s horror anthology movies by Amicus. It has allowed me to take a nice break from the Hope Town shorts and keep writing. It has also allowed me to test out my new mobile writing rig, of which we will speak more of in the future.
Anyway, for “Portmanteau” (now subtitled “or The Unquiet Night of Doctor Henry Morales”) I have 5-6 short stories all linked together by a series of framing sequences as part of a whole tale. The screenshot above shows the breakdown of one of the those links where the good Doctor finds himself in the present day partaking of a meal firmly wedged in the 1970s.
