Drabble Day: Wind

For four days they found themselves becalmed.

If they had been tourists it would have been almost idyllic; hanging out in the sun on the sailboat with food, drink and relaxation on tap.

However, being dedicated seafairing folk, this was a nightmare.

Randolph spent most of the days in the lotus position on the bow, watching and hoping for a front to come in.

Richard spent the time cleaning anything and anything he could to keep busy.

Robin while away the time consuming as much alcohol as possible.

When the wind finally came, it was too late for them all.
