A little drabble: Monitor

The light from the monitor casts a soft blue glow across her face as she watches the film. The flickering makes her shadow look like its dancing up the wall behind her.

Something funny happens and she smiles, then laughs. The headphones slip to the side but she catches them and re-adjusts, making sure she doesn’t miss a second.

Her seat swivels and then she pulls her legs up and tucks them underneath herself. Then, slowly she turns off the monitor and removes the headphones.

“It was really funny when you screamed,” she says before I finally, slip into unconsciousness.
