The living room was different.
Renee hadn’t been out for long – just long enough to get a refill of her wine glass – but now when she returned to the room things were definitely awry. The television was off and the four gang socket had all of the plugs removed. The white leather couch had now replaced the bookcase on the opposite wall.
She felt a chill shoot up her spine then turned to see the ghostly figure standing in the corner.
“This place is a disgrace,” he moaned as he ironed her blouse. “You need to get a cleaner in.”
