I’ve just been writing a scene which was flowing quite nicely, but was going somewhere which – on reflection – would have revealed the ending and the killer far too early in the book. So I changed it.
I know that one of the golden rules of Nanowrimo is to not edit as you go along, but I couldn’t leave it in there in all conscience even knowing I would take it out later.
For the first time in a while I’m having doubts about finishing on time, but its because I want to do a good job with this one that I can’t bring myself to let something like that slide.
Anyway, back to the writing.
