Basing my novel around the amateur dramatic community means that I can really push the boat out on the 3 act structure. I can go the whole hog (or at least I am going the whole hog, so there) by labelling each act clearly. It also helps me get some more words (okay, so 6 more words minimum and 18 maximum for start of act and end of act comments).
I know, I know.
So how are they split? Well, I’ll let the descriptions explain:
ACT ONE: In which we meet our cast
ACT TWO: In which a murder is discovered and an investigation begins
ACT THREE: In which a killer is revealed
Its a conceit really, but its also a bit of fun.
